The patka is coming together.
I began working on the second border last evening and put in a few hours of work today. Again, am using simple geometric shapes to make-up the design as per the 1570's. At this stage I'm using ivory thread for the various component sections but am considering introducing a small black centre to each free standing triangle. Pinning the wheel motif sampler to the area it is going to be worked up on enhances my perception of the overall embellishment for the garment.
