Over the years I'm been stashing away semi precious stones here and there for no obvious reason. Just before 'Xmas last year I ran into some Gilgut aquamarines and the whole thing fell into place more or less. I decided to have them strung as a period necklace for my persona. The aquamarines are semi polished with raw edges and even bits of rock still incorporated into the various shapes. In shades of pale ice green and blues they are soothing to look at. Since the original strand was a bit short for me I decided to make the string longer by including a piece of jade set in silver.
The long and short of it is that the drawing arranges the pieces I currently have and will get the jeweller to string and work-up. Centre is the jade hanging from the rope of Gilgut aquamarines. (Fortunately a smaller string was located and there is ample to enlarge the necklace.) To the right and left of the jade are three pink 12mm pearls. The two on either side of the jade have an aquamarine drop hanging from them. Beyond the pearls hanging from the rope to left and the right of the jade piece are large oval pieces of chrysophase which I want embedded in silver which will have another but smaller pink pearl inset. At the bottom of the Jade in each corner is a typical tassel made from three pink river pearls. Suspended from the Jade is either another aquamarine or larger pink pearl, whichever we can find and doesn't break the bank! Below this is my silver Tara murti.

Wow, I just looked up Tara, and didn't realize I'd picked such a stupendous name!
I'll never live up to it, but it's nice to know the history from another country.
Here's a place you might find an "interesting" aquamarine - they have constantly rotating stock, and I haven't looked today - (I don't know what will trip your OhYeah! button, anyway):
