The coral set arrived from the jeweller.
The large rope on the left is Tibetan, the pendant had come off the pin and had to be re-hung with a new and stronger one.
Centre is my new mala. Coral on knotted silk for strength decorated with a seed pearl tassel and big agate bead. (I'm not thrilled with the silver cap but will have to wait until I can get to India and have it refined.)
Right is an antique choker of strung coral beads separated with silver plaques. I'm told it's somewhere between one hundred and fifty to two hundred years old. The provenance is Rajasthan India.
Am planning to pair this when worn with several ropes of pearls and perhaps another of agates. Santa has been very kind this year.
